We went to Kua Bay, located in North Kona, right when the beach opened to go for a swim with friends. We found the surf to be up, so we didn’t get to go snorkeling, but we played in the wash and Eric got into the waves for some body surfing. The water is always so blue and beautiful, and the sand super soft and white. It IS a beach that needs respect and there is a life guard there, but today, the current was pretty strong. I opted to play in the wash and just be safe and happy!
